Gabe was rescued in an unfortunate state of health. He was found in a state of extreme malnourishment.
He was unable to even stand properly.
It was a heartbreaking sight to see this poor pup, weak and collapsed on the street.
We really thought he would not spend the night. They tell us that his owner passed away last year……and the poor man was left adrift.
Unable to ignore his suffering, we carefully approached him. Determined to give him a 2nd chance at life, we took him home
The poor guy was muddy and fleas.
More fluids, more pampering and vitamins these days. We bathed him, carefully removing the dirt and fleas. A spa for your little paws that were very bad, apply special cream and so on. Days turned into weeks, and under our dedicated care, Gabe’s health steadily improved.
As Gabe’s physical health flourished, so did his spirit.
