Dr. Dubrow informed the cameras, ‘I have to make sure my approach is a conservative one, it’s wise and it doesn’t take any undo thoughtless risks with Rajee’s face.

Dr. Dubrow informed Rajee that he and Dr. Nassif had two main reservations about surgically removing her facial tumors.

The doctor said they’re scared that removing the cement may ‘activate the inflammatory process’ and make her face a ‘inflammatory mess’.

Another issue was that the ‘masses envelop all the muscles, nerves, and blood vessels, and cutting them out would inflict a lot of damage to the skin’ and affect her nerves.

Rajee kept her sense of humor despite the circumstances.

After Dr. Dubrow informed her that he and Dr. Nassif would inspect both sides of her face, she joked about being double-teamed by doctors. Baby, I’ve come far.

Rajee’s face nodules have been “treated with very judicious injections of steroids which has stabilized them from an inflammatory point of view,” Dr. Dubrow informed the cameras.

At the consultation, he excitedly told Rajee that the steroids ‘have really localized things’ and lowered inflammation, allowing the physicians to view the cement lumps under her skin.

Dr. Nassif was impressed and advised Dr. Dubrow to feel two ‘very circumscribed’ lesions on her face.

‘Last year surgery wasn’t possible. Now? Dr. Nassif informed the cameras Terry may be right.

Dr. Dubrow said this was bad. When a patient wakes up during surgery, they may not know where they are and start writhing.

Their blood pressure can rise due to nervousness, and you lose control of your surgical field. So a relaxed patient under anesthesia is crucial.

After modifying her anesthesia, Dr. Dubrow began removing the cement off her cheek, which was painful.

The doctor used a bone saw to delicately remove the cement without damaging her face’s muscles or nerves.

I always saw myself with breasts and a vagina when I fantasized about boys. I didn’t aware I was doing it—it seemed natural. My mind clicked and I realized, “You’re not gay, you’re transgender.”
